Coming directly from performing the closing ceremony
of the Green Festival, members of the New Millennium
Orchestra will present a "tone parallel" to the Earth's environment and the dynamic equilibrium famously represented by black and white daisies. Instrumentation includes flute, oboe, French horn,
violin, viola, erhu (Chinese violin), laptop computer
and turntables.

DJ Spooky is an internationally renowned master of
turntables and production, and has collaborated with
classical musicians and orchestras the world over. He
also produces "Subliminal Strings", an occasional
musical event in New York City. He has also authored
books on the new technology of music and performance.

Michael Kang plays violin, manolin and guitar with The
String Cheese Incident, one of the best known "jam
bands" in the United States. He is co-founder of Our
Future Now, a coalition of musicians and festival
organizers dedicated to making mass gatherings more
Green and environmentally responsible.

Abominable Twitch is one of Chicago's most
accomplished laptop performers. He has performed with the New Millennium Orchestra in a variety of venues.

This promises to be THE after party for Green Festival
at McCormick Place, and a musical event unmatched for its musical reach and imagination.

Following the main performance, three prominent local
DJ's will keep the room moving to Dubstep, breaks, and more.
